In 2009, KTM became the first major manufacturer in the world to introduce a mountain e-bike – the hardtail eRACE. Over the following 16 years, KTM has consistently stayed at the forefront of this segment, and since 2020, the highest series of popular hardtail mountain e-bikes has been named MACINA TEAM. The MACINA TEAM series has been an absolute bestseller in recent years and comes for the 2025 season with the best technologies available for e-bikes.

The KTM MACINA TEAM 891 e-bike is the highest model in this series. For the 2025 season, this model features, for the first time, electric shifting from TRP, which automatically selects the optimal gear based on precise ride data from the motor. This e-bike comes with the Bosch ConnectModule as standard, enabling functions such as eBike Alarm and GPS tracking.

For the 2025 season, KTM maintains its position as a leader in offering a wide range of e-bikes with the most advanced e-drive technology from the German manufacturer Bosch. After KTM’s great success in 2024 with lightweight e-bikes built on the Bosch SX system, they are now introducing a completely new range of high-performance e-bikes for the 2025 season, featuring the new Bosch CX 5th generation motor.

Compared to the previous Performance CX 4th generation motor, the new drive is quieter, lighter, with a longer range, an even better sensor system, more natural assistance control, and reduced motor resistance when riding without assistance.
